THE FAREWELL

Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I'll miss you until we meet again."

Issue 19 | March 2024

Dear Readers,

Saying goodbye. It's a phrase that carries weight, resonating with emotions of sorrow, nostalgia, and sometimes even relief. Whether bidding farewell to a loved one, a cherished place, or a chapter of our lives, goodbyes are an inevitable part of the human experience.

Goodbyes are never easy. They signify the end of a connection, a routine, or a phase of life. The difficulty lies in letting go of something familiar and venturing into the unknown. It's natural to feel a mix of emotions - sadness, anxiety, uncertainty - as we confront the reality of parting ways.

How we say goodbye can greatly impact how we move forward. Some choose to mark the occasion with heartfelt words and gestures, expressing gratitude for the memories shared. Others may struggle to find the right words, grappling with the finality of the moment. Whatever the approach, finding closure is essential for healing and growth.

I recently had to bid farewell to someone I always had the most arguments with.

While we weren't particularly close, I assumed I wouldn't miss her much. Yet, as she walked out the door, I felt a constriction in my heart. It was unexpectedly hard, a testament to the complexities of human relationships and emotions. Despite my strength, tears threatened to fall, but I promised myself not to cry— not just yet.

In closing, let us cherish the memories, honor the connections, and embrace the journey ahead, knowing that every goodbye is a new beginning waiting to unfold.

Until next time Chimdimma🥹💜❤️,
